FAQs

Questions?

Can I try dresses on?

Yes!

Whether you're local or not, you can try on the dress(es) you have your eyes on.

If you're local you can book in an appointment to come in and try on as many dresses as you desire. If you aren't local we can post up to two dresses for you to try on.

What is the returns policy?

We do have a strict no-returns policy.

Because of this, we recommend either trying the dress on or carefully looking at the product measurements.

We can however accept exchanges on the conditions that the dress is returned in it's original condition, the customer covers postage for the return and the dress is exchanged for a dress of the same value.

Where are the dresses sourced from?

Each dress is different but all pieces are sourced directly from either the lady who wore it at their wedding, or their loved one.

This is honestly the best part about the business because of how wholesome these interactions are. The garments and accessories in our curated collection all come with their own unique, special history. All items are hand-picked and reworked by Fruitful Bridal so the history and story of the dress is shared directly from the owner of the dress.

We get to hear about how old the dress is, when the dress was made and by whom, see photos of the original bride wearing the dress and hear all about its history.

Do you do consignment?

We offer consignment for clients that are interested in giving their Fruitful dress another life or if you have a vintage wedding dress you are ready to part with.

The way it works is we put your piece back up for sale at the original purchase price (as long as the item is in the same condition). Once the item sells, we split profit 50/50. There are no exceptions to our policy, even if you purchased a piece and wish to return it shortly after/never wore it/it never leaves the salon.

What condition are the dresses in?

All dresses are sourced in different conditions but as soon as a dress is sourced it goes through a thorough cleansing and cleaning process.

This includes cleansing each dress with sage to say bye to any bad energy, sanitised dry-cleaning and hand-cleaning to remove any stains or imperfections and hand-restoring any characteristics/signs of damage that take away from the dresses beauty.
