1. About Fruitful Bridal

Fruitful Bridal is a Sydney-based bridal studio specialising in vintage and made-to-order wedding dresses. Each piece is carefully sourced, restored, or created using second-hand materials. As many of our garments are vintage or one-of-a-kind, we encourage customers to read product descriptions thoroughly and reach out with any questions prior to purchase.

 

2. Appointments

  • Appointment Fees
    All appointments require a non-refundable booking fee, which covers your studio consultation and time allocation with our team.

    • Standard appointment fees are stated at the time of booking.

    • Appointment fees are non-refundable under any circumstance, including cancellation.

  • Rescheduling
    Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before your scheduled time, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made via email or through our booking system.

    • If you choose to cancel your appointment altogether, your booking fee will not be refunded.

  • Late Arrivals
    We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to ensure the next client’s appointment begins as scheduled.

 

3. Online Purchases & Shipping

  • Vintage Items
    All vintage pieces are sold as-is. While we take great care in restoring and describing each item accurately, minor imperfections are part of the charm and character of vintage garments.

  • Shipping
    Orders are shipped via trusted carriers. Once your order has been dispatched, Fruitful Bridal is not responsible for any delays, loss, or damage caused by the courier.

    • Shipping fees are stated at checkout unless otherwise stated (e.g., complimentary express shipping at Fruitful Bridal’s discretion).

  • International Orders
    Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by their local authorities.

 

4. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our business and the uniqueness of each piece, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges on vintage or made-to-order garments.
Exceptions may only be made at Fruitful Bridal’s sole discretion in special circumstances.

 

5. Made-to-Order Pieces

Our made-to-order collection is handcrafted from second-hand or vintage textiles. Each design is unique, and minor variations may occur. Production timelines are outlined at the time of order, but please allow for small variations due to material availability or artisanal processes.

 

6. Product Care, Alterations, Restorations & Damage

Vintage textiles require gentle care. We recommend working with an experienced tailor familiar with delicate fabrics for any alterations. Fruitful Bridal is not liable for damage caused by alterations or improper care once the garment has left our studio.

  • Alterations, Restorations & Customisations
    Costs for alterations, restorations, and customisations differ for each piece depending on the fabric, complexity, and level of work required.

    • A detailed quote will be sent to the customer for confirmation before Fruitful Bridal proceeds with any adjustments or charges are applied.

    • Work will only commence once the customer has approved the quoted cost in writing.

  • Damage Fees
    Any damage to Fruitful Bridal pieces during appointments, fittings, or while in the client’s care will incur a cleaning or repair fee, depending on the nature of the damage.

    • The fee will be determined based on the actual cost of cleaning, restoration, or alterations required to return the piece to its original condition.

    • Clients will be notified of the estimated cost prior to repair work being undertaken.

 

7. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during booking or purchase is used solely to process your order or appointment and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. 

 

8. Liability

Fruitful Bridal shall not be held responsible for:

  • Any allergic reactions to fabrics or materials.

  • Variations in colour or texture due to screen displays or lighting.

  • Damages arising from wear, alteration, or mishandling after purchase.

 

9. Changes to Terms

Fruitful Bridal reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
