At Fruitful Bridal, we’re all about breaking away from tradition and embracing individuality, sustainability, and inclusivity. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to share the story of the world's first-ever vintage bridal runway, a groundbreaking event we recently hosted in collaboration with the incredibly talented event stylists at Daisy Soiree.

The runway took place at the beautiful Abbotsford Convent in the Mural Hall, and let us tell you — it was nothing short of magical. The historic venue provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration of all things vintage bridal. From the moment guests entered the venue, they were transported into a world where history and style collided, as dresses from the 1920s to the 1990s moved gracefully down the runway.

Our vintage bridal collection tells the story of generations of brides, each with their own unique style, vision, and journey. The runway featured gowns that spanned nearly a century of bridal fashion, from the flapper-inspired, art-deco glam of the 1920s, to the romantic, ethereal styles of the 1980s and ’90s. Each dress was selected for its timeless beauty and impeccable craftsmanship, and we loved how they all told a unique story.

But what made this runway truly special was not just the dresses, but the diverse range of models who brought them to life. Brides of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds strutted down the runway, showing that there is no one way to be a bride.
